Profeti Muhammed a.s. ka thene:
"Obligimet e burrit ndaj bashkeshortes (gruas) jane: ti qendroj prane cdo here kur ajo ka nevoj, ta veshmbathe, te mos e dhunoje , te mos ia marr fytyren dhe mos ta hidheroje." (Hakimi)
Profeti Muhammed a.s. ka thene:
"Obligimet e gruas ndaj bashkeshortit (burrit) jane: te mbaj fjalen bese qe e ka dhene, te mos i largohet nga shtrati, te sillet me dashamiresi ndaj fjaleve te tij dhe te mos fus ne shtepi personin qe burrit nuk i pelqen." (Taberani)
Profeti Muhammed a.s. ka thene:
"Me i miri nder ju eshte ai qe ka sjellje te mire ndaj bashkeshortes se tij." (Ebu Hurerja r.a)
Profeti Muhammed a.s. ka thene:
"Gruaja me e mire eshte ajo qe kur e shikon te gezon, qe te degjon, qe ruan veten (moralin) dhe pasurin tende kur je large."
Profeti Muhammed a.s. ka thene:
"E gjithe kjo bote eshte kenaqesi e perkohshme , ndersa me e mira kenaqesi e kesaj bote eshte bashkeshortia e mir dhe e ndershme." (Nesai)
